CoCA Membership
Since its inception, CoCA has been a membership organization. CoCA's membership model is similar to that of public radio. It is by and large a show of support of our Mission. We are not a collaborative or collective, and we do not exist to show the work of our members, but rather to expose them to the world of Contemporary Art. The cost is $45 and there are no other membership requirements. Anyone can be a member. Once a year (in March) we have a membership meeting, and the members elect the Board (https://www.cocaseattle.org/team).
Benefits
There are certain benefits that we provide to thank our members for their support.
CoCA members get a discount on most Call-for-Art and other fees
Members are eligible for a higher commission rate (70%) than non-members (%60) if and when their work is shown and sold.
Once a year we have a members' show where all artist members are invited to submit a work of art.
Members are eligible to participate in our ShowWalls program.
Members can create a profile in our publicly-accessible Member Directory.
