More than ten years after Bellevue Arts Museum presented the first Knock on Wood in 2014, Seattle’s Center on Contemporary Art offers an updated glimpse of the broad range and endless imagination of wood artists in the Pacific Northwest. Curated by L. Kelly Lyles, the exhibition features the work of some 30 artists from a round the region, including Renee Adams, Susan Aurand, Diane Bellisario, Evan Blackwell, Shaun Doll, Tammie Dupuis, Tim Fowler, Dave Francis, David French, Tom Gormally, Julia Haack, Steve Jensen, Sarah Kavage, Mike Levitt, Andy McConnell, Jesse Proebstel, Polly Purvis, Peter Reiquam, June Sekiguchi, Nate Stemen, Bill Whipple, and others still to be announced.
