2009 Art Marathon and Auction: Auction Tickets

A 24 hour non stop art marathon, featuring 20 emerging and established artists starts at 9:00 am on Friday, December 4, and ends at 9:00 am Saturday, December 5. Nine hours later, on Saturday night, the work is auctioned to benefit both the artists and CoCA. Three silent auctions are followed by a curated live auction. Hors d'oeuvres included and adult beverages available for purchase.

Lisa Harris of the Lisa Harris Gallery, celebrating 25 years in the Pike Place Market, will be our Guest Juror for this year's auction, selecting approximately 40 or so works for live auction from the 100 or so created.

Come by all day Friday and meet the artists. Watch them work. Admission is free. Then come to the auction on Saturday night and see the finished work, bid on it, and take something home that you saw being made just the day before. You get great art, the artists makes some money, and CoCA's mission is sustained with your support. Where else can you stretch your money like that? See you there!

This event benefits the Center on Contemporary Art, a 501c3 organization, and is open to our members and the public.
