Waldo Vega was born in the Philippines in 1976, emigrated with his family to New Jersey in 1988. Since then he has traveled west to Oregon and finally settling in Seattle, Washington where he received his Bachelor's of Fine Art from the University of Washington. A naturalized citizen of Ballard, Washington for 10 years he also owns a graphics company called Ballard Outdoor, Inc. His creativity works in many mediums from photography, painting, sculpture and also commercial forms such as graphic design and wide format printing. Waldo's most recent works are in oil and acrylic paintings though his main undergraduate study has been in forms of intaglio such as etching and wood block printing.
