Mariyah was a critical volunteer at our 2007 Marathon and Auction, working the Reception Desk, Sales Desk, and numerous other tasks. She was in charge of Reception and Sales in 2008, and moved into the Treasurer's Role in 2009.

In 2008, Mariyah transformed herself into a fundraiser in order to raise $7,500 to get a glucose alert dog, Gizmo, to help her manage her diabetes. Still single except for Gizmo, Mariyah enjoys biking, swimming, hiking, camping, snowboarding, skiing and bowling. She wishes she could travel more, but her current priority is enrolling in school to get a degree in accounting.
